Duties

- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients to streamline kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food handling and safety protocols
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal results while preventing overcooking or undercooking
- Support the team in plating dishes attractively and efficiently for service
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and kitchen procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours

Qualifications

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred




- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Experience with food safety standards and proper food handling practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities
- Basic understanding of serving procedures and customer service expectations is a plus
- Kitchen experience involving meal preparation, food industry operations, or restaurant work is desirable

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
