Job Summary

We are currently seeking experienced Class 1 and Class 3 Drivers with dump truck and/or end dump experience to join our team.

The successful candidates will be responsible for safely transporting asphalt, gravel, aggregate, and other construction materials to and from job sites.

Previous dump truck experience is strongly preferred. Class 1 drivers with end dump trailer experience are especially encouraged to apply.

We are looking for dependable, safety-conscious drivers who are comfortable working in active construction and paving environments.

Duties

- Safely operate tandem and tri-axle dump trucks
- For Class 1 drivers, safely operate tractor-trailers with end dump trailers
- Haul asphalt, gravel, aggregate, and other construction materials
- Safely load, transport, position, and dump materials at job sites
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Follow proper and safe dumping procedures
- Communicate with paving crews, equipment operators, dispatchers, and supervisors




- Maintain required driver logs and transportation documentation
- Report maintenance and mechanical concerns promptly
- Keep trucks clean and in good operating condition
- Follow all company safety policies and applicable transportation regulations
- Assist with other duties as required

Qualifications

- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 Driver’s Licence
- Dump truck experience strongly preferred
- End dump experience strongly preferred for Class 1 drivers
- Experience hauling asphalt, gravel, aggregate, or other construction materials is a strong asset
- Comfortable working around paving and heavy construction equipment
- Knowledge of safe loading, hauling, and dumping procedures
- Strong commitment to workplace and road safety
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours based on construction schedules
- Good communication skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge is an asset
