Duties

- Prepare food items efficiently and according to safety and quality standards, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout
- Operate the Micros POS system to process orders accurately and handle cash or card transactions with precision
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
- Manage food handling responsibilities, ensuring proper sanitation and adherence to food safety regulations
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including kitchen stations and dining areas
- Handle cashier duties such as cash handling, giving change, and balancing registers at shift end




- Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks with effective time management skills

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation and food service environments; restaurant experience is highly valued
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS or similar platforms, for smooth order processing
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and basic math for accurate cash handling and transactions
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in cashiering, serving, or the food industry enhances your ability to upsell menu items confidently
- Understanding of food safety protocols and proper kitchen practices to ensure guest safety and satisfaction

Pay: $18.50-$19.50 per hour
