Nurses On Demand is looking for upbeat, reliable and compassionate Licenced Practical Nurses to add to our casual pool.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Nurses on Demand, you are part of an interprofessional health care team utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills. The LPN ensures the general well being of patients through the delivery of high quality services in a manner that is consistent with the policies, procedures and philosophy of Nurses on Demand.

Responsibilities :

- medication administration & wound care

- Provide companionship

- Ensures that the emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety of client is met to the greatest possible extent





- Provide assistance with client specific activities of daily living (personal assistance tasks)

- Perform specialized, client specific procedures for which recognized training and current competency can be demonstrated.

- Observe and document client conditions according to company standards.

- Understands and implements infection prevention practices.

- Complete other tasks as requested

Education: Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma

Requirements :

Current active registration in good standing with the CLPNA

Current CPR certification

previous home care experience is an asset

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $27.00-$37.00 per hour
