Stuyver's Bread, located in the Gloucester Industrial area in Aldergrove, has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Production Worker in our Packing department!

Shift time: 10:00am - 6:30pm (Monday to Friday; full time)

JOB SUMMARY:

The Packing position is the final step in ensuring all bulk and already bagged product is packaged in the proper boxes prior to shipping. Packing workers are an important part of the team on the bakery line producing a high quality product; in accordance to the customer’s requirements and food safety and quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ensure product is coming out of the freezer properly
- Assemble boxes as per specifications for each product
- Monitor metal detector for accuracy and any issues or alerts
- Load product into correct boxes and send through tape/seal dispenser
- Ensure appropriate labels get placed on products and refill machine as needed

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience:





- Previous production experience in a food processing plant in a packing position
- Able to work in a physically demanding environment, on a fast paced production line
- Ability to speak, read, understand and follow simple instructions and product labeling in English
- Able to work quickly and efficiently with hands and perform repetitive motions
- A willingness to collaborate and contribute ideas to improve team performance and success
- Work well under pressure
- Punctual and good attendance is mandatory
