Key Responsibilities

- Perform confined space entry and cleaning of boilers and incinerator units (e.g., muck out, boiler wash, under-fire air tubes).
- Operate, set up, and maintain a 20,000 PSI high-pressure power wash unit.
- Participate in confined space rescue, spotter and first aid duties.
- Assist maintenance services and operations personnel as required.
- Support operating engineers with tasks requiring additional assistance.
- Perform general housekeeping duties as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the plant and grounds.




- Assist operations on the tip floor by unloading trucks using a forklift.
- Provide coverage for loader operators in the tip floor and ash room.
- Assist contracted maintenance service personnel as required.
- Ensure all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
- Perform custodial duties as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Minimum Qualifications

- Completion of Grade 12 education.
- Self-motivated with strong mechanical aptitude.
- Several years of experience in an industrial environment.
- Preferred qualifications include:
- Welding, machining, rigging, or general maintenance skills.
- Confined space training and experience.
- Experience operating man lifts, skid steers, lift trucks, grapples, and front-end loaders.
