The Maple Station is seeking a dedicated, friendly, and reliable Full-Time Retail Associate to join our team year-round. As part of a welcoming, tourist-focused retail workplace, you will play an important role in creating a fun and memorable Canadian maple experience for visitors from around the world, while also supporting the day-to-day operations of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming, upbeat environment
- Serve maple syrup products and soft serve ice cream with care and efficiency
- Operate the cash register accurately and handle transactions
- Answer customer questions and share knowledge about maple products
- Offer samples in a friendly and engaging way to enhance the customer experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including counters, equipment, and customer areas
- Restock products and supplies and assist with inventory management
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards
- Support opening and closing procedures
- Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining a positive attitude

- Engage in friendly small talk and make visitors feel welcome

Qualifications:

- Previous retail or food service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle cash and perform basic math
- Comfortable standing for extended periods
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- Able to work independently, demonstrating autonomy and sound judgment in identifying what needs to be done and taking initiative without constant supervision.

- Multilingual abilities are a strong asset when serving international visitors
- Leadership potential or interest in taking on additional responsibilities over time

Job Type: Full time (Year-Round)
