We are a growing accounting firm in North York near Yonge and Sheppard and are looking for a staff accountant.

The ideal candidate should have experience and be comfortable with preparation of tax returns, year ends, handling client queries and excellent communication skills.

Must have working knowledge of Caseware, Taxprep, Quickbooks or Quickbook online

The responsibilities would include:

- Reconciling Bank and Credit card accounts
- Government remittances
- Preparation of T1 Personal & Sole proprietor returns
- Preparation of T2 Corporate Taxes
- Preparation of working paper file within Caseware
-Assisting in HST & Income tax Audits
-Ensuring filing deadlines are met

- Must have 2 years of experience.

Job Types: Full time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

- North York, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

- Public Accounting: 2 years (required)
