Tandem Pediatric Speech & Occupational Therapy is a private multidisciplinary clinic in South Ottawa. We are on a mission to redefine pediatric care by breaking down clinical silos. We believe in treating the whole child, which is why our SLPs and OTs share caseloads, collaborate on goals, and build unified care plans.

We are seeking a passionate, community-driven Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team as an Independent Contractor. You will have the flexibility to set your own schedule and build a caseload that fits your life, all while working in a highly supportive environment.

Position Details

- Independent Contractor role with complete schedule flexibility.
- Part-time or Full time caseloads available.
- In-person services provided at our modern South Ottawa clinic (no driving between clients' homes).

Qualifications

- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or equivalent.
- Active and in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
- Eligible for professional liability insurance.
- Proven experience (or strong clinical placement experience) with the pediatric population.
- Strong communication skills and a warm, empathetic approach to patient care.

Job Description





- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for children (ages 0-18).
- Develop and implement evidence-based, neurodiversity-affirming treatment plans.
- Provide direct 1:1 treatment in our clinic space.
- Collaborate directly with our Occupational Therapists on shared patient goals.
- Provide parent coaching and education to empower families.
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation.
