Routes Adventures is the Canadian provider for Road Scholar, the U.S. not-for-profit dedicated to lifelong learning through travel. We create immersive travel adventures across Canada that connect travellers with people, places, and stories that make each destination unforgettable.

Overview
We’re looking for a passionate Group Tour Coordinator to manage a portfolio of Road Scholar tours from itinerary development to budget reconciliation. You’ll ensure every tour runs smoothly, deliver exceptional quality and experiences for our travellers, and collaborate with a dedicated team of colleagues, vendors and group leaders.

What You’ll Do

- Manage tours: sourcing, pricing, and reconciliation
- Maintain traveller communications and ensure accurate tour details
- Lead pre- and post-tour meetings with Group Leaders
- Review evaluations to support continuous improvement
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts (hotels, restaurants, venues, presenters)
- Monitor receivables, disbursements, and work with Finance on tour closeout
- Support internal procedures,



training materials, and process improvements
- Travel to conferences, site inspections, and occasionally during tour departures

What You'll Bring

- 2+ years of experience in group travel, tourism operations, or event coordination (preferred)
- Familiarity with hotel and transportation contracts (preferred)
- Working knowledge of accounting/billing procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and verbal and wrtiten communication skills
