Best Brains is seeking enthusiastic teachers and educators to teach:
Required (At Least One): Math, English
Preferred: Coding, Science, Abacus, French
The instructor will work with small groups of up to 5 students at a time and support students between the ages of 3–15 years old.
This is an in-class position only.
Responsibilities
- Work with students aged 3–15
- Ability to support high school students is preferred
- Instruct small groups (maximum 5 students per class)
- Provide parents and administration with feedback on student progress
- Attend staff meetings
- Maintain a structured and positive classroom setting
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years prior teaching experience required
- Strong communication skills
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and patient personality
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Willing to commit to a year-long program
- Must reside in Markham, Ontario or surrounding areas
(Candidates from other cities or countries will not be considered)
Qualifications
- Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) – Preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree – Preferred
- Exceptional high school students will be considered
- Childcare/ECE Experience and education is a plus
- Ability to teach Abacus, Coding, and/or French is highly preferred
Schedule
- 1–5 days per week
- Monday–Thursday (between 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM)
- Saturday (between 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Compensation
- Up to $25 per hour
- Salary may increase based on performance
