Job Title: Automotive Detail Manager
Location: Dave Wheaton GM, Victoria, BC
Compensation: Competitive wage based on experience
Schedule: Full-time | 5 days per week

We’re looking for an experienced and hardworking Automotive Detail Manager to lead our detail department. This is a fully hands-on position: the Detail Manager will perform the same daily detailing duties as the rest of the team while managing staff, coordinating workflow, and ensuring productivity and quality standards are consistently met.

What You’ll Do:

- Detail Sales and Service vehicles inside and out to dealership standards
- Lead, train, and support the detail team
- Assign and prioritize work to maximize departmental productivity
- Monitor workflow and ensure vehicles are completed accurately and on time
- Inspect completed vehicles and maintain consistent quality standards
- Monitor employee productivity, attendance, and performance
- Communicate with Sales, Service, and management regarding priorities and vehicle status
- Ensure the department remains clean, organized, properly stocked, and safe
- Manage detailing supplies and equipment
- Address quality concerns and arrange corrections promptly
- Lead by example by maintaining a strong personal level of productivity




- Follow and enforce all dealership procedures and safety requirements
- Safely lift up to 70 lbs

What You Bring:

- Previous automotive detailing experience
- Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- High standards for productivity, quality, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage staff while completing your own daily workload
- Ability to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to lead by example
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
