Landmark Bus Lines is seeking professional, safety-focused Transit Operators to join our team in Collingwood, Ontario.

As a Transit Operator, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers throughout the community while providing a professional, courteous, and positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate transit vehicles on assigned routes and schedules
- Provide professional and courteous customer service to passengers
- Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and applicable traffic regulations
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and required documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and passengers
- Assist passengers with boarding, accessibility requirements, and general inquiries




- Respond calmly and professionally to unexpected situations or customer concerns
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming workplace for passengers

Qualifications

MANDATORY:

- Valid Ontario Class BZ Driver's Licence
- Clean Driver's Abstract
- Satisfactory CVOR

We are looking for candidates who also have:

- A strong commitment to passenger safety
- Excellent defensive driving skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- A professional appearance and positive attitude
- Dependability and punctuality
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Previous experience in transit, coach, school bus, or other commercial driving is considered an asset.
