Your Responsibilities May Include

- Check with the Captain for bar setup and service requirements.
- Set up, stock and maintain the bar in accordance with Marriott and hotel standards.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with applicable legislation and hotel policies.
- Follow all responsible alcohol service requirements.
- Perform cashier duties, when required.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar, following the “Clean as You Go” policy.
- Break down and thoroughly clean the bar following each function.
- Report equipment concerns, repairs, incidents and accidents to the Captain or Banquet Manager.
- Follow all applicable health, safety, energy conservation and loss prevention guidelines.
- Provide courteous, efficient and professional guest service at all times.
- Maintain a cooperative, team-oriented approach with supervisors, coworkers and other hotel departments.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Captain, Banquet Manager or supervisor.
- Adhere to all Marriott, hotel and departmental policies and procedures.




- Report to work on time and in proper uniform/attire.
- Other reasonable duties as assigned.

What Are We Looking For?

Education & Experience

- Minimum 1 year of previous bartending and serving experience in a hotel or similar environment.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Smart Serve certification required.
- Mixology certification considered an asset.

Skills & Abilities

- Excellent communication skills in both official languages (English and French).
- Strong guest service skills with a focus on exceeding guest expectations.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to perform physically demanding duties, including prolonged standing, walking and lifting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays, based on operational requirements in a 24/7 hotel environment.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
