Role Description: The Financial Agent role at Finova Financial Solutions (and GFI Global Financial Impact) is a hybrid position based in Vancouver, BC, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, the Financial Agent will meet with clients to understand their goals, assess their current financial situation, and develop tailored financial plans and strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing financial data, preparing reports, presenting recommendations in clear and accessible language, and following up regularly to help clients stay on track. The role also involves building and maintaining client relationships, staying current on financial products and market trends, and collaborating with the broader team to support community education and outreach efforts.
This position is designed for individuals who are motivated to grow as financial entrepreneurs while making a positive impact on families’ financial wellbeing.
Qualifications
- LLQP license is an asset, but it’s not mandatory.
- Candidates should possess or be willing to obtain knowledge of strong competency in Financial Planning and Finance to develop and implement effective client strategies.
- Candidates should possess or be willing to obtain knowledge of solid Analytical Skills and Financial Reporting abilities to interpret data, prepare accurate documents, and support informed decision-making.
- Candidates should possess or be willing to obtain knowledge of clear and qualified Communication skills to explain complex concepts, build trust, and present recommendations to diverse clients.
- Relevant education in finance, business, economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience in financial services or advisory roles would be an asset.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage time independently, and handle multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Commitment to ethical conduct, client-focused service, and continuous learning in financial planning and market developments.
- Licensing or willingness to obtain required financial industry licenses and certifications as applicable.
- Entrepreneurial mindset,
goal orientation, and interest in long-term career growth within a leadership-focused, mission-driven organization.
- Experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technical sales roles with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets is an asset but is not mandatory.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers at various levels.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to present confidently to diverse audiences.
- Any second language is considered as an asset.
- Business development expertise with a focus on expanding market reach and increasing revenue streams.
- Knowledge of marketing principles and strategies that support sales growth will be provided.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for account management and analysis purposes is an asset but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated analysis skills to assess client needs, market conditions, and competitive landscape will be provided.
Payment:
- In addition to bonuses, profit share, promotion gifts, partnership payments, and commission, total pay varies within an uncapped range.
