Overview
Black Deer Transport Inc. is looking for an experienced Dispatcher to coordinate daily transportation operations and ensure drivers, trucks, trailers, and loads are managed efficiently and safely. We (Black Deer Transport Inc) are an asset-based transportation company specializing in temperature-controlled and time-sensitive truckloads.

The Dispatcher will communicate with drivers, customers, shippers, receivers, brokers and internal departments to ensure loads are booked, picked up and delivered on time while maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable transportation regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Minimum one year Dispatch experience is required, Outbound (USA) experience with ability to work independently with minimal supervision is must
- Dispatch drivers and assign loads based on equipment availability, location, hours of service and customer requirements.
- Plan efficient routes and schedules to maximize equipment utilization and Coordinate pickups, deliveries, appointments, border crossings and special instructions.
- Cold calls to book freight off Loadlink or other load retainer sites/apps




- Ensure shipment details are accurately communicated and tracked in the system.
- Coordinate drivers for outbound runs, and monitor supply chain operations.
- Coordinate and assign equipment and load to drivers based on customer needs and driver available hours.
- Make ACE & ACI using Borderconnect and other TMS software
- Monitor drivers with the onboard ELD system and HOS compliance to ensure on time delivery.
- Ensure driver remain compliant with DOT regulations and company rules.
- Monitoring shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity.
- Provide exceptional service to our carriers and customers.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
