Pay: $18.00 per hour + Tips
Expected Hours: 15–20 hours per week
Shift Availability: 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM, including weekends
Location: 632 Vaughan Rd, York, ON

Al Pastor Taqueria is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and friendly Part-Time Restaurant Server to join our team!

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a quick-paced restaurant environment, provides excellent customer service, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized workplace.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable communicating in both English and Spanish and be available to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages to customers.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions.
- Answer customer questions about menu items.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, tables, counters, and service stations.
- Perform general restaurant cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Complete assigned closing duties and ensure the restaurant is clean and ready for the next business day.
- Assist with restocking supplies and organizing inventory.
- Lift and carry supplies, food products, and other restaurant items as needed.




- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Assist team members with other restaurant duties when required.

Requirements

- Valid Food Handler Certificate (Required)
- English and Spanish proficiency (Required)
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting and cleaning.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Willingness to help with all aspects of restaurant operations, including closing and cleaning.

Previous restaurant or customer service experience is an asset.

Compensation & Schedule

Hourly Rate: $18.00 + Tips
Hours: Approximately 15–20 hours per week
Shift: Evening shifts between 4:00 PM and 11:00 PM
Weekend availability is required.
