Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Server / Front Counter Staff member to join our dynamic food service team. In this role, you will be the friendly face greeting customers, taking orders, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Your enthusiasm for food, excellent customer service skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently will contribute to creating a welcoming environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant setting where your skills in food handling, cashiering, and upselling will shine. ( tip sharing pool with all staff ) day shifts including Wed, Thurs, Fridays and EVERY Saturday

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service at the front counter or dining area
- Take accurate orders using Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems, ensuring quick and efficient processing
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change and totals
- Prepare and serve food items according to safety and sanitation standards, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and service areas
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain food safety protocols, proper sanitation practices, and food handling procedures throughout your shift




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to deliver prompt service while balancing multiple responsibilities

Experience

- Proven experience in food preparation, serving, or cashiering within a restaurant or food industry workplace
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Previous food handling and sanitation experience to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and order processing
- Demonstrated time management skills in fast-paced settings with the ability to multitask efficiently
- Experience with upselling techniques to promote menu items and maximize sales potential

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
