Duties

- Prepare and assemble meals according to established recipes and safety standards
- Serve food to residents or guests with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain cleanliness in kitchen areas, dining rooms, and food storage spaces
- Follow proper food safety procedures, including handling, sanitation, and storage protocols
- Assist with meal setup, tray assembly, and portion control to ensure efficient service
- Support with dishwashing, cleaning utensils, equipment, and dining areas after each shift




- Manage time effectively to ensure timely delivery of meals while adhering to safety guidelines

Requirements

- Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals or food industry settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety standards
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards at all times
- Experience with food handling equipment and cleaning supplies is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy meal periods
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks
