We are seeking a dedicated Steel Worker and Overhead Crane Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves performing steel fabrication, assembly, and installation tasks while operating overhead cranes to move heavy materials safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude,, and excellent communication skills to ensure smooth operations and uphold safety standards. Duties

- Operate overhead cranes and boom trucks to lift, move, and position steel components with precision and safety.
- Perform steel cutting, welding, rigging, and assembly according to project specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections of cranes, rigging equipment, and tools to ensure proper functioning.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using forklifts and other heavy machinery.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently while maintaining a safe work environment.
- Follow detailed safety protocols and adhere to OSHA regulations during all operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report progress or issues promptly.
- Support the installation of structural steel components on construction sites or manufacturing facilities.




- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and proper storage of tools and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely completion of tasks aligned with project deadlines.

Requirements

- Focus on steel fabrication or related trades.
- Valid certification for operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and boom trucks preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge related to rigging, welding, and steel assembly processes. Baveling would be an asset.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English; bilingual skills are considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and procedures in industrial environments.
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including lifting heavy materials.
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with proactive communication abilities.
- Multilingual abilities are advantageous for effective collaboration across diverse teams.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
