Position: Production Farm Grader

Wild Rose Packing Inc. is a new and proudly Canadian packaging company and member of the Kamper Group of Companies. We recently started serving national grocery chain and food service. Located between Vauxhall and Taber, Alberta; we are a growing packaging company committed to quality, innovation, sustainability, teamwork, safety and continuous improvement. Most products packaged in our facility are grown on our own farms, we take pride in delivering high-quality products to our customers.

Position Overview

We are seeking workers with keen eyes and steady hands to ensure that only the best of our products make it to market. As a Production Farm Grader, you’ll be the quality gatekeeper for our produce, protecting our reputation and delighting our customers. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining our high standards, reducing waste, and supporting the smooth flow of operations on the farm.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect, sort, and grade agricultural products (potatoes and onions) according to size, quality, and customer specifications.
- Operate grading equipment safely and efficiently, making adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy.
- Identify and remove defective or damaged products to ensure only top-quality goods are packaged.
- Maintain accurate records of graded quantities and quality outcomes.




- Work closely with the production team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with food safety and workplace safety standards.

Qualifications

- Experience in agricultural production, food processing, or a similar hands-on role (grading experience is an asset but not required—training provided).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly without sacrificing accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly.
- A team-oriented mindset and good communication skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Working Conditions

The position will involve industrial environments, including exposure to noise, dust, varying temperatures, confined spaces, elevated work areas, and physically demanding tasks. This role requires heavy lifting and sometimes working after hours.
