Shunda Polyurethane Ltd. manufactures and distributes spray polyurethane foam and coatings across Canada from Markham, Ontario. Our sister company, One Alliance Group Ltd., installs insulation for residential and commercial projects. We are a mid-sized, fast-moving group: new product lines, new certifications, new in-house systems. You will see all of it.

The role at a glance

Title: Accounting Specialist
Location: Markham, ON (on-site)
Type: Full-time, permanent; occasional longer hours required, especially at month-end and year-end
Reports to: Accounting Manager

What you'll own

You keep the day-to-day books clean, current and closed on time for Shunda and One Alliance Group.

- Process accounts payable: match invoices to POs and receiving, code them, and prepare payment runs.
- Manage accounts receivable: post payments, send statements, and follow up on overdue accounts with a friendly, firm voice.
- Reconcile bank, credit card and intercompany accounts monthly.
- Post journal entries and support month-end close with the Accounting Manager.
- Prepare AR aging and other routine reports for management.
- Keep vendor and customer records accurate, including credit applications and tax documents.
- Support HST filings, payroll inputs and year-end audit requests.
- Work with operations on invoices,



packing slips and inventory so every sale lands correctly in the books.

What you bring

Must have:

- 2+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping (AP, AR, reconciliations, month-end support).
- Diploma or coursework in accounting or bookkeeping; CPA studies in progress is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software and solid Excel (lookups, pivot tables).
- Working knowledge of Canadian HST and payroll basics.
- A finisher's mindset: you close what you open and flag early when something will slip.
- Clear, professional written and spoken English.

Nice to have:

- Experience in manufacturing, distribution or construction.
- Inventory costing or multi-entity bookkeeping.
- Comfort with dashboards or reporting tools beyond Excel.
- Mandarin, Cantonese or Korean.

Pay: $45,000.00-$51,000.00 per year
