Routes Adventures is an established Canadian company with nearly 40 years of successful operations and a long-standing exclusive partnership with one of the world’s leading educational organizations. We manage the Canadian operations and financial administration of hundreds of programs annually.

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to take a senior role in the company and ultimately assume full responsibility for our finance function.

The Role

Oversee the day-to-day finance function and a small accounting team, with responsibility for:

- Full-cycle accounting and financial reporting Budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis Program costing, re-costing and profitability analysis Cash flow management and banking Accounts payable, EFTs and financial controls General ledger and bank reconciliations Payroll oversight Month-end and year-end processes Sage accounting and continuous improvement of financial systems and processes





What We’re Looking For

- 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience Strong budgeting, forecasting, reconciliation and financial analysis skills Experience overseeing accounting staff and day-to-day financial operations Advanced Excel skills; Sage experience is an asset Strong analytical skills, judgment and attention to detail CPA designation is an asset but not required.
