About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to support the delivery of major transit infrastructure projects as part of the Ontario Line subway program. This role will play a critical part in managing electrical systems design, coordination, and implementation across multiple project phases, from planning through to construction and commissioning.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure mechanical systems are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage electrical aspects of transit infrastructure projects, including tunnels, stations, and ancillary facilities
- Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project scope, schedule, and budget
- Oversee design development, reviews, and approvals for various electrical systems
- Monitor project progress and provide technical guidance during construction and commissioning phases
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies related to electrical systems
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications
- Support procurement processes, including technical evaluations and vendor coordination
- Prepare and present project reports, updates, and documentation to senior stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience





- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum eight years of experience in electrical engineering/project management within infrastructure or transit projects
- Demonstrated experience working on large-scale, complex construction projects (rail/transit experience strongly preferred)
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems for underground or transit environments
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and external consultants
- Familiarity with Ontario/Canadian codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
- PMP designation or equivalent is considered an asset
- Skilled Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility is preferred

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $150,000.00-$195,000.00 per year
