Workforce Inc. is seeking motivated and physically fit Mill Labourers to support our clients’ mining operations in Kirkland Lake.

Responsibilities:

- Works in a team/crew setting reporting to the mill supervisor.
- Work with principles of teamwork, and good communication displaying these daily Capable of working independently at times.
- Perform job duties as assigned. Inline with SOP’s and health and safety guidelines. Must have a solid understanding of IRS and
- Perform preoperational checks on equipment and report deficiencies.
- G-class driving license with a clean record.
- Communicate effectively in English (both verbal and written) to fill out log sheets and communicate using a radio.
- Willingness to train for various tasks ie. Operating ETP , assisting at crushing plant
- Make decisions based on sound knowledge and troubleshoot process equipment issues to ensure process parameter targets are met.
- Assist with performing basic maintenance and repairs on pumps and piping, including unplugging lines.
- Housekeeping and other relevant tasks as assigned by the Mill Operations Supervisor in the ETP, Crushing Plant or Mill facility.
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks and lift heavy loads
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and potentially hazardous workplace




- Must have a solid understanding of IRS and working safely alone
- Communicate effectively in English (both verbal and written) to fill out log sheets and communicate using a radio
- Ability to work in a team and follow directions
- Basic computer skills required. Use HMI, Excel, Outlook
- Prior experience in manual labour or the mining industry is an asset
- Valid G class drivers licence and reliable transportation is required

Schedule: 7/7 rotation, 12-hour shifts, alternating day and night shift

Pay Rate: $26
