Job Description: Do you like to Inspire children with fun and hands-on science programs using your teaching skills? Why not join our team of dynamic presenters who engage kids with awesome, hands-on science experiments! No two days are the same in this job and whether it’s making bouncing balls or mixing potions, you’re sure to have a blast!
Duties & Responsibilities
- Leads various Mad Science programs catered to kids ages 3-12, including after-school programs (ASPs), in-school curriculum workshops, homeschool workshops and camps.
- Presents large-scale science performances for school assemblies, themed shows, and corporate & community events
- Promotes all Mad Science programs to potential customers in a positive and professional manner
- Demonstrates professionalism and commitment to the Mad Science brand
- Responsible for being punctual to all events (at least 15-30 minutes early for set-up).
To be a Mad Science Instructor, you MUST:
- Have experience working with groups of children
- Be a driver with access to a reliable vehicle
- Be available and committed to the work schedule
- Be prepared to undergo a background check
