What You’ll Do

As an Electrical Labourer, Helper, or 1st Year Apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced electricians on a variety of projects. You’ll:

- Work safely, following all company and site Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Read and interpret diagrams, drawings, and specifications
- Prepare layouts for electrical systems, machinery, and controls
- Install underground wiring, surface-mounted, and overhead cables
- Install, replace, and repair electrical distribution and utilization equipment
- Splice, terminate, and label conductors properly and accurately
- Test and measure voltages, ampacities, insulation integrity, continuity, and other electrical characteristics
- Ground and bond electrical systems, equipment, and structures

What You’ll Bring





- Reliable transportation to get to job sites or the shop daily
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and attention to detail
- First Aid, CSTS, and lift tickets are an asset (but not required)

Location

Most work is based in Edmonton, AB, with some travel to nearby sites.

Wage

Competitive and based on experience and qualifications.
