Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry. As a Server, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, managing orders efficiently, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS, ensuring all details are captured correctly.
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining excellent time management skills.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and maximize sales opportunities.
- Process payments accurately through cash handling and cashiering duties, ensuring all transactions are recorded properly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations to uphold sanitation standards.




- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction with their dining experience.

Qualifications

- Previous restaurant experience preferred, with a strong understanding of food service operations.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Strong time management abilities to handle busy periods effectively.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and handling cash accurately.
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus but not mandatory as training will be provided.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating independence when necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
