Location and transportation

This role involves working in client homes throughout North Vancouver and West Vancouver. A valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle are required to travel between client homes during the workday.

Overview

As a Household Helper/Manager, you will help individuals and families maintain a tidy, peaceful, well-organized home through support tailored to each household’s needs. Your duties will include laundry, cleaning, meal preparation, cooking, organizing, and other household tasks. Some households also require support with children’s daily routines, activities, and playtime.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and finds satisfaction in making everyday life easier for others.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities vary by household and by day and may include:

Household Management

- Perform cleaning, laundry, and organizing tasks
- Assist with meal preparation and cooking
- Help with decluttering and maintaining an organized home
- Complete other household to-do list items

Childcare Support, as required

- Supervise and engage children in safe, age-appropriate activities
- Assist with homework and educational tasks




- Facilitate fun, creative playtime while maintaining a nurturing environment

Requirements

- A valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle to travel between client homes
- Ability to work at client homes throughout North Vancouver and West Vancouver
- Energetic, reliable, and trustworthy, with a passion for helping people
- Cooking and meal preparation skills
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage time efficiently
- Strong cleaning and organizational skills
- Experience in childcare, cleaning, caregiving, or a related field is an asset
- First Aid certification and/or Early Childhood Education training is an asset

Pay: $22.00-$29.00 per hour
