Job Overview

We are currently hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for an industrial/mining environment in Rocanville, Saskatchewan. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled operators looking for stable, full-time work with a strong possibility of transitioning into a permanent position.

The successful candidates will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment, supporting site operations, and following all company safety procedures and site requirements.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate heavy equipment as assigned
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any defects or maintenance concerns
- Load, move, stockpile, and handle materials as required
- Follow site procedures, safety policies, and instructions from supervisors
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Work safely around other heavy equipment, vehicles, and personnel
- Complete required documentation and equipment checklists
- Assist with general site duties when required
- Follow all applicable occupational health and safety regulations

Requirements





- Previous experience of atleast 2-3 years operating heavy equipment in an industrial, mining, construction, aggregate, or similar environment
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence or equivalent, where required
- WHMIS 2015
- Additional site-specific safety orientations and training may be required
- Strong safety awareness and ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Ability to work extended 12-hour shifts
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test, if required
