Position Title: Pharmacy Assistant

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Part Time Position: 1-2 days per week

Job Summary:
The Pharmacy Assistant will assist with all functions related to the technical processes related to dispensing prescriptions, assisting in the delivery of various services while delivering excellent customer experience in this customer facing role. The assistant will also play an active role in the operations and maintenance of the pharmacy.

Principal Responsibilities:

The Candidate Will Need To know How to:

 Interact with customers, ensuring prescription information is handled appropriately and in line
with the operating procedures.
 Refer to the pharmacist all clinical inquiries. This includes, but is not limited to, inquiries
related to medication use and recommendations (including prescriptions, OTC’s, and restricted
sale products), diseases and conditions, or other inquiries.
 Cashing out customers prescriptions and other goods/services which may have been purchased.
 Present customers with appropriate information needed to assess their needs or concerns,




referring them to the Pharmacist in a timely fashion.
 Managing customer inquiries both in person and over the phone
 Assist with all forms of administrative tasks, including: reviewing repeat prescriptions, perform
billing procedures, call back management, communication with physician offices,
documentation filing, report creation, and other.
 Inventory management, reviewing appropriate levels for all medications as well as front of the
store products. Conduct orders as needed and ensure all inventory is placed in the appropriate
locations. Perform recall/return processes as needed.
 Overall assisting with the Pharmacy in daily tasks and operations management.

Experience:
 Robust customer service skills
 Knowledge of Fillware
 Ability to multitask and be organized
 Retail Canadian experience, or customer interfacing experience is Required .

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
