Part-Time Restaurant Team Member – FOH / Kitchen

Gyuichi is looking for friendly, reliable, and hardworking part-time team members to join our restaurant. Team members will help with both customer service and day-to-day restaurant operations while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service.
- Take customer orders accurately and process payments.
- Prepare, portion, assemble, and pack food according to Gyuichi recipes and standards.
- Operate restaurant equipment such as rice cookers, fryers, griddles, warmers, and other kitchen equipment safely.- Prepare ingredients and restock stations throughout the shift.
- Follow food safety procedures, including proper food storage, temperature control, and FIFO rotation.
- Maintain consistent food quality, portion sizes, and presentation.- Keep the kitchen, service counter, dining area, equipment, and workstations clean and organized.
- Wash dishes, pots, utensils, and equipment as required.
- Assist with receiving and storing food and supply deliveries.
- Complete opening, closing,



and general cleaning duties.
- Work efficiently with other team members, especially during busy periods.
- Perform other reasonable restaurant duties as required.

- Willing to learn different FOH and kitchen positions.
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform regular bending, reaching, and lifting.
- Previous restaurant or food-service experience is an asset but not required.
- Food Handler Certification is an asset.
