Duties

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and following recipes to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen by cleaning work surfaces, utensils, and equipment regularly
- Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and assisting chefs during meal service
- Handle food safety procedures and proper food handling practices to comply with health regulations
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for order processing and cash handling when required
- Support serving staff by delivering food to tables and assisting with guest requests to enhance customer satisfaction




- Contribute to a positive team environment through effective communication and collaboration during busy service hours

Qualifications

- Previous food service experience or kitchen experience is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with restaurant operations, including serving, cashiering, or using Micros POS systems is a plus
- Hospitality or hotel experience can be advantageous but is not required
- A proactive attitude with excellent teamwork skills and a passion for delivering guest services

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 35.0 per week
