Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all supplies are ready for procedures
- Assist dentists during examinations and treatments by handing instruments, suctioning, and managing patient comfort
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology when necessary
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Epic
- Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients, ensuring they understand care procedures
- Support front desk staff by managing patient check-ins, scheduling appointments,
and handling basic administrative tasks as a dental receptionist
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and answer questions related to treatments or procedures
Experience
- Prior experience in dental assisting or a related healthcare role is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix or Epic is advantageous
- Knowledge of orthodontics procedures and pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Solid understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and patient care
- Experience with orthodontic appliances or CAD technology is beneficial but not mandatory
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
