Northern Hardware Ltd. is looking for a full time experienced Service Technician/Door Installer to join our team located at the Calgary head office.

Responsibilities:

- Designing, planning and installation of integrated Access Control, CCTV Security Systems, Telephone Entry Systems and Barrier Free Operators
- Responsible for the execution of service schedules including routine servicing and inspection of Access Control, CCTV, Telephone Entry and Barrier Free Operators
- As part of the Project Management Team you will be instrumental in the completion of projects while exceeding customer’s expectations
- Maintaining detailed and accurate records of all work performed
- Ensuring continued customer satisfaction by delivering service that meets or exceeds the client’s expectations
- Continued upgrading of equipment knowledge and troubleshooting techniques
- Ensuring clients’ system meets Northern Hardware Ltd. standards




- Working with senior management on the planning and implementation of additional product and service offerings

Qualifications

- Candidates MUST have a minimum 3 years previous experience installing and maintaining building access control systems and barrier free operators
- A valid Trade Qualifications Certificate
- Ability to work independently without guidance
- Demonstrated high level of customer service
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to present information and to read and interpret complex data
- Ability to transport equipment and tools weighing up to 40 lbs
- Ability to work in restricted spaces and manoeuvre ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Flexibility to work out-of-town for short periods
- Candidates must successfully complete an employment background investigation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
