Job Overview

Lakeside Eco-Sports is looking for an enthusiastic Tour Guide to lead guests on winter e-bike tours, hiking tours, and other winter outdoor activities provided by the company. This role focuses on providing a safe, engaging, and memorable experience while sharing the natural beauty of the region with visitors.

Training on company tours and procedures will be provided.

Responsibilities

- Lead e-bike and hiking tours in a safe and engaging manner
- Support other guided activities organized by Lakeside Eco-Sports
- Provide safety briefings and ensure guests follow safety guidelines
- Assist guests with e-bike operation and equipment use
- Share information about the local area, nature, and points of interest
- Adapt tour pace to suit the group and maintain a positive guest experience
- Prepare and check equipment before and after tours
- Report any safety concerns or equipment issues

Requirements





- Friendly and outgoing with strong communication skills
- Comfortable leading groups in outdoor environments
- Confident and experienced riding e-bikes, with strong bicycle handling skills
- Good physical fitness and ability to hike and cycle for extended periods in cold weather
- Ability to follow company safety protocols and risk management procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (22 kg)

Training

Training will be provided on:

- Tour routes and procedures
- E-bike safety and operation
- Customer service standards
- Safety and emergency protocols

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal

Pay: $22.00 per hour
