Position Summary

The Junior Travel Agent supports senior advisors and clients by assisting with travel planning, bookings, documentation, and customer service. This role is focused on learning agency systems and procedures, maintaining accurate client and traveller information, building strong client relationships, and contributing to individual, team, and company goals.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Booking Support

- Assist with booking flights, accommodations, car rentals, tours, and other travel services
- Ensure all traveler and client information is accurate and kept up to date in ClientLinq (Leisure and Corporate profiles)
- Prepare, review, and deliver itineraries, invoices, confirmations, and final travel documentation
- Manage booking changes, cancellations, and follow-ups as required
- Use selling, marketing, invoicing, and documentation checklists to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Follow established sales procedures, including booking and final documentation checks

Client Relationships & Retention

- Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with clients
- Support client retention strategies, including participating in in-person client meetings when required




- Provide reliable customer service before, during, and after travel
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding bookings, changes, and advisor availability

Teamwork, Compliance & Operations

- Support fellow team members and contribute to overall team goals
- Collaborate with management to achieve individual, team, and company objectives
- Adhere to TICO guidelines and all company policies and procedures
- Maintain a daily time log and submit weekly to administration (in-house advisors)
- Ensure all work is completed and appropriate communication tools are used prior to any time away from the office

Professional Development

- Build destination, supplier, and product knowledge through research and training
- Participate in destination travel, trade shows, or consumer events as opportunities arise and as assigned by management
- Perform other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

- Strong interest in the travel industry and commitment to building a career in travel
- Post-secondary education in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field, or currently enrolled (Preferred)
- Proficiency with travel technology and systems, including CRM platforms, booking tools, and Microsoft Office
- Strong customer service and written and verbal communication skills




- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines accurately
- Robust organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changes and handle client issues professionally
- Professional, positive attitude with openness to feedback and continuous learning

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00-$37,000.00 per year
