Job Summary

We are recruiting for a Junior Law Clerk, Real Estate for a direct hire opportunity with a legal services organization in Barrie, ON. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career law clerk with 1 to 2 years of experience who is looking to build hands-on expertise in residential real estate law.

In this role, you will work closely with lawyers, Senior Law Clerks, and other members of the Real Estate team in a collaborative and supportive environment. The position offers valuable exposure to a wide range of real estate transactions, structured training, steady workflow, and the opportunity to develop your skills with industry tools such as Unity, Teraview, Soluno, DocuSign, Zoom, and MS Office.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare real estate transaction documents using Unity and assist with related file documentation.




- Open, maintain, organize, file, scan, and email documentation for a high volume of real estate files.
- Support lawyers, Senior Law Clerks, legal professionals, and assistants within the Real Estate team as needed.
- Assist with running deals and coordinating transaction-related tasks from start to finish.
- Draft correspondence and communicate with utility companies and other parties involved in real estate matters.
- Ensure files are accurate, complete, well organized, and handled with solid attention to deadlines and detail.

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary range: $35,490 to $40,950 per year.
- Hourly equivalent: $19.50 to $22.50 per hour, depending on experience.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- 35-hour work week.
- 70 hours of sick and appointment time per year.
- 2 weeks of vacation.
