The Opportunity
We are seeking dedicated Support Workers to join a small, consistent care team supporting a youth with complex needs and aggressive behaviours. This role is ideal for someone who is calm under pressure, patient, and committed to building a trusting, stable relationship with the individual they support. You will work closely with a tight-knit team to provide safe, respectful, person-centred care, helping the youth navigate daily routines and challenges while maintaining a secure environment for everyone involved.

What You Will Do

- Provide one-on-one support with daily living activities, routines, and personal care as needed
- Follow individualized care and behaviour support plans consistently
- Use de-escalation strategies to prevent and safely manage challenging behaviours
- Communicate clearly with team members, family, and clinical supports, including accurate documentation and shift reports




- Promote the youth's independence, dignity, and wellbeing in every interaction

What We Are Looking For

- Developmental Services Worker (DSW) certificate or Personal Support Worker (PSW) certificate
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with complex needs and aggressive behaviours
- Clear, professional communication skills
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention and Prevention (NVCI) certification is an asset
- Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) certification is an asset
