Tiny Stars Daycare is looking for a passionate, experienced, and dedicated Level 3 Program Director to join our team in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role in a our daycare and help build a strong, welcoming program from the ground up. The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to our team of Early Childhood Educators while helping create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

What We’re Looking For

- Level 3 Early Childhood Educator certification
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in a centre-based child care program
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of the ELCC Act and Regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong computer and administrative skills
- A genuine passion for early learning and child development
- A commitment to creating a safe, welcoming, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children
- The ability to build positive and professional relationships with families, staff, and community partners

Key Responsibilities
As the Program Director,



you will play an important role in ongoing operation of Tiny Stars Daycare. Responsibilities will include:

- Working with our external Child Care Consultant to complete the required steps for AHS and licensing approvals
- Supporting the development and implementation of center policies, procedures, and programs
- Promoting Tiny Stars Daycare within the Grande Prairie community
- Learning and overseeing all operational aspects of the center
- Assisting with the recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of a high-quality team of Early Childhood Educators
- Providing tours to prospective families and assisting with the registration process
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the centre
- Providing leadership, supervision, guidance, and support to Educators
- Identifying professional development and training needs for staff
- Supporting a positive, collaborative, and professional team culture
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with children and their families
- Ensuring the centre operates in accordance with applicable legislation, regulations, policies, and best practices
- Helping create a high-quality early learning environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn
