Heartwood Family Wellness is a values-driven, trauma-informed practice dedicated to supporting children, youth, adults, and families through life’s most complex transitions. The Opportunity

We are currently seeking Registered Psychologists, Registered Clinical Counsellors, and Registered Social Workers to join our team as associate clinicians. This role is well-suited to clinicians who value relational work, thoughtful case conceptualisation, and working within a supportive, non-hierarchical clinic culture.

Who We Serve

Our client population may include:

- Children and youth
- Adults
- Parents and families
- Clients navigating separation/divorce, family conflict, and life transitions
- Clients impacted by trauma, anxiety, depression, ocd, distorted eating, grief, neurodiversity, and relational stress

Clinicians are encouraged to work within their areas of interest and competence.

Responsibilities

- Provide ethical, evidence-informed psychotherapy to clients within your scope of practice
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation




- Collaborate with the Heartwood team as appropriate (consultation encouraged, not required)
- Uphold professional and regulatory standards

Qualifications

- Minimum of a Masters degree
- Registered and in good standing with a recognised regulatory body (e.g., College of Psychologists, College of Registered Clinical Counsellors, College of Social Workers)
- Eligible for independent practice and professional liability insurance
- Strong professional boundaries, reflective capacity, and commitment to ethical practice

Compensation & Schedule

- 60/40 compensation model
- Weekend shifts
