Position Overview

The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who thrives in a busy retail environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service. You will assist customers, support sales, operate our POS system, and help keep the store stocked, organized, and well presented.

This position requires open availability, including evenings and weekends, for 30–40 hours per week throughout the seasonal employment period.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Help customers select products, determine sizing, and find suitable options for their needs.
- Provide accurate product information and recommendations.
- Explain product features and suggest complementary items when appropriate.
- Process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges accurately using the POS system.




- Answer incoming phone inquiries according to Work N Wear procedures.
- Collect and maintain customer information through the POS system as required.
- Assist with receiving merchandise, replenishing stock, and organizing inventory.
- Merchandise products and maintain attractive, clearly priced displays.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor and stockroom.
- Communicate with team members about products, promotions, and customer needs.
- Complete other store duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- At least one year of previous retail sales experience is required.
- Experience with merchandising, sales, and POS systems.
- Robust customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Willingness to learn about workwear, safety footwear, and related products.

Availability

- Open availability is required.
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
- Must be available for 30–40 hours per week throughout the seasonal employment period.
