Job Description

We are looking to hire a motivated and customer-focused Stocking 1 Team Associate to support stocking activities and merchandise availability at Walmart. This associate is responsible for accurately stocking merchandise, maintaining organized shelves and backroom areas, and working as part of a team to complete daily tasks based on workload and operational priorities while providing excellent customer service.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, locating merchandise, and assisting with purchase decisions
- Review daily workload and priorities for assigned areas of the store
- Accurately stock, organize, and sign merchandise
- Maintain modular integrity and address shelf capacity errors




- Work merchandise and CAP/VizPick bins to support the Customer Availability Process
- Ensure proper fixtures, supplies, and tools are used to complete assigned tasks
- Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by following company policies and procedures
- Complete required safety sweep logs and ensure displays and fixtures are secure
- Prepare the backroom for the stock unloading process
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete stocking activities efficiently and accurately

Qualifications

- Previous retail, stocking, warehouse, or merchandising experience is an asset
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Able to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace
- Comfortable performing physical tasks associated with stocking and merchandise handling
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must follow company health and safety policies and procedures at all times

Pay: From $17.75 per hour
