This role will be responsible for day to day bookkeeping and accounting of a busy mechanical contracting firm.
This position has the option of part-time availability but no more then 40 hours a week as full time.
We are looking for an individual with the drive and willingness to grow but retains the precision and quality control for this line of work.
Responsibilities and Duties
The applicant will be responsible for the following operations including not limited to below:
- Accounts receivable
- Accounts payable
- Filing
- Tax Preparation
- Payroll administration
- Reporting to president with daily, weekly and monthly reports as needed
- Collecting payments from customers
- Benefits plan administration
Qualifications and Skills
We would expect this candidate to have the following qualifications:
- Education in business administration or finance
- Minimum 6 years in accounting atmosphere
- Minimum 2 Years in construction accounting atmosphere (preferred)
- Minimum 1 years in Calgary construction accounting atmosphere
- Preferred 5 years experience with Quickbooks Online
- Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, Adobe a must
- Experience with Quickbooks Payroll
- Experience with CAFT (preferred)
