Overview

Clockwork Health Group is looking for an experienced/intermediate Medical Laboratory Assistant/Technician, where your expertise will play a vital role in delivering accurate and timely laboratory results and support patient care in a growing, welcoming and professional Family Practice and Walk in Clinic . This energetic position offers the prospect to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your laboratory skills and medical knowledge to contribute to diagnostic processes. You will be an essential part of our commitment to excellence, precision, and compassionate healthcare delivery.
Duties
- Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens with accuracy, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times.
- Prepare, label, and process laboratory specimens in accordance with established protocols and quality standards.
- Conduct point-of-care testing, including urine analysis and dipstick testing, with reliable documentation of results.
- Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs, ensuring proper documentation in the medical record.
- Assist with minor procedures, including tray preparation and maintaining a sterile, organized environment.
- Administer injections and immunizations in accordance with clinic protocols and within scope of practice.
- Maintain cleanliness of examination rooms through proper sanitation and infection control practices.
- Monitor and manage inventory of medical and laboratory supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Handle, store, and dispose of biological specimens safely and in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, specimens, and test results.
- Support clinical and administrative workflows, collaborating effectively with physicians and clinic staff.
- Perform other duties as required
Skills
- Proficient in phlebotomy, specimen handling, and vital signs
- Strong patient care, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of infection control and clinic safety practices
- Skilled in assisting with procedures and administering injections within scope
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
- Professional, reliable, and committed to patient confidentiality
- Familiarity with EMR systems and clinic workflows, i.e OscarPRO
Pay: $18.50-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
