Schedule

24 to 39 hours per week.

The schedule for this position is not fixed. It changes week to week depending on catering events.

Education & Experience

- A minimum of 2 years experience in catering or restaurants is required.
Must have good communication, reading, writing and English skills.

Job Description

- Must be able to perform portering duties which include repetitive lifting of 40lbs. Will be responsible for setting up and tearing down banquet rooms.

- Must have experience doing catering set ups with a flair for table presentation.

- Must have great customer relations skills and be comfortable working in a fine dining setting.

- Must be familiar with a variety of service styles.

- Must have experience serving at banquets.

- Will occasionally be needed to work at other catering locations.

- Required to perform all duties of any job classification equivalent or lower as required

- Must have demonstrated time management skills to meet strict schedule and timelines. Must be able to work efficiently, accurately, and independently in a high pressure, fast paced environment.

- Accurately complete daily reports and logs.

- Must be able to complete food safety training..
