Avery HR has immediate openings for experienced CNC Machine Operators for temp-to-perm positions in Brampton.

ALL TRAINING WILL BE ON DAY SHIFT FOR UP TO 8 WEEKS.

Shifts:

- Nights - 10:00pm to 6:30am, Sunday to Thursday

Pay: from $22.00 per hour, plus shift premium

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Operate CNC machinery (lathe and mills) for production to established production rates
- Operate manual machines as required
- Use measuring devices to maintain required machine tolerances
- Ability to hold required tolerances through machine offsets, tooling replacement including inserts
- Package and apply proper identification of machined parts
- Maintain valuable housekeeping, follow lean Manufacturing Process
- Report to the supervisor any damages or malfunction of the equipment and tools
- Wear appropriate safety equipment
- Adhere to company policies and safety rules
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor

SAFETY EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENT:

Safety equipment that must be worn on the job are as follows:





- Safety shoes with metal guard
- Safety glasses
- Ear plugs

EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENT:

- Minimum FOUR years experience with CNC Lathe and Milling machines (3 axis & 4 axis)
- Ability to read blueprints / drawings and follow engineering instructions
- Ability to use various types of measuring equipment
- Ability to use various types of hand and power tools
- Crane training an asset
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Previous work experience in an ISO certified company preferred
