One of our clients is hiring an experienced Brake Press Operator to operate a manual brake press machine in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience bending and forming metal parts, reading shop drawings, and using measuring tools to ensure accurate production.

Responsibilities

- Operate manual brake press machinery to bend and form metal parts
- Set up and adjust the machine according to job requirements
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions
- Measure and inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
- Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges
- Select and install appropriate tooling
- Load and unload materials safely
- Follow production schedules and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area




- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

Requirements

- Previous experience operating a manual brake press is required
- Experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing
- Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
- Valuable knowledge of measurements and dimensions
- Ability to use basic measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Good work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift and handle metal materials as required

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
