Overview

Primary Care Clinic in London Ontario specializing in conducting Clinical Trials is seeking a Registered Dietician to join our team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Provide tailored diet and exercise counselling to participants in various weight loss trials. Set and collaborate on goals together based on evidence-based nutrition information.
- Review 3-day food records, 24-hour food recall, etc. with trial participants to identify their progress at achieving their nutrition and physical activity goals. Analyze food records using calorie trackers like MyFitnessPal to provide insight, potential areas for improvement, and further nutrition education.
- Handout resources as approved by IRB and/or supplied by the study at hand.
- Communicate nutrition requirements such as calorie deficit and protein goals based on the equations intended to be used as per study protocol.
- Maintain accurate participant records and ensure timely documentation.
- Review study protocols and develop diet and exercise source documents for every study as applicable
- Work cooperatively with principal investigator, clinical research coordinators, and site personnel to complete visits and submit accurate source documentation.




- Train in GCP and trial-specific procedures to provide high-quality on site/remote visits for subjects enrolled in clinical trials.

Qualifications:

- Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Dieticians of Ontario
- Proficient in data management software and electronic medical records systems
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Exceptional verbal, writing and communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, investigators, and sponsors
- Clinical Research experience would be an asset

Additional requirements:

- Police record check
- Documentation of up-to-date immunizations

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 20.0 per week
