The Chance
E3 Community Services is seeking a People & Culture Coordinator to support employees throughout their employment journey, from recruitment and onboarding to development, leave coordination and offboarding. Working closely with the Director, People & Culture and Payroll & Benefits Specialist, you will coordinate P&C; processes, maintain accurate records and provide responsive day-to-day employee support. This role offers the opportunity to improve processes and contribute to a safe, inclusive and supportive workplace.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Coordinate recruitment, including postings, applicant screening, interviews, reference checks, offers and candidate communication
· Coordinate onboarding and deliver new hire orientation, ensuring required documentation, training and follow-up are completed
· Maintain employee records, prepare employment documentation and coordinate employee changes with the Payroll & Advantages Specialist
· Respond to routine employee inquiries and support employee relations and performance processes, escalating sensitive or complex matters to the Director
· Coordinate leave and return-to-work administration and support accommodation processes under the Director’s guidance
· Track mandatory training, credentials, renewals and other employment requirements in collaboration with the Quality Assurance Facilitator and program teams
· Prepare reports, monitor deadlines and resolve missing or inconsistent information across P&C; systems
· Support employee engagement, policy updates, health and safety activities, audit readiness and process improvement
Key Skills and Capabilities
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
· Strong organization,
attention to detail and reliable follow-through while managing competing priorities
· Practical HR knowledge and experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee records and employee lifecycle processes
· Working knowledge of Ontario employment legislation and the ability to apply organizational policies consistently
· Clear written and verbal communication, strong interpersonal skills and a responsive approach to employee service
· Sound judgment, discretion and the ability to recognize when matters require escalation.
· Confidence using Excel and Microsoft 365 to organize, reconcile and report on information
· Comfort working with HR systems; experience with SharePoint, Dayforce or Surge Learning is an asset
· A collaborative approach and the ability to identify improvements that strengthen employee experience and organizational effectiveness
Working Conditions and Expectations
This role includes the following working conditions:
- Main office location in Collingwood
- Full time, permanent position
- Office-based, with sustained computer work and regular interaction with employees, this role may be eligible for hybrid work based on operational need
- Some travel may be required for location visits, meetings, training and other operational needs

Compensation
The expected annual salary range for this role is $53,248 to $60,611.20. Placement within the range will be based on demonstrated skills, relevant experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.
